Acer-Chromebook-Spin11 and Acer-Chromebox-CXI3_With-KB-and-Mouse

Acre at the Bett Show in London unveiled two new Chromebooks alongside a Chromebox named Chromebook Spin 11, Chromebook 11 C732 and Chromebox CXI3 respectively.

As the names suggest the newly launched Acer products are specifically targeted for families, students, and individuals. The main USP of the products is it will run and support Google Play applications.

Acer Chromebook Spin 11 flaunts a stylish design, the sleek silver cross-hairline pattern on the top cover offers a premium look. The 360° convertible design provides you the best-optimized touch experience on an 11.6-inches HD display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels alongside stylus input.

Moreover, the stylus is powered by the Wacom EMR (Electro-Magnetic Resonance) technology 2 whereas the Chromebook is powered by a quad-core Intel Pentium processor N4200, Intel Celeron quad-core processor N3450, or an Intel Celeron dual-core processor N3350. It is integrated with 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB or 64GB inbuilt eMMC storage.


It offers two USB-C 3.1 ports that can u utilized for charging, data transfer, and connecting external displays. Moreover, it also gets two standard USB 3.1 ports along with a microSD card reader.

Connectivity options include 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2. It measures 296 (W) x 206 (D) x 19.95 (H) mm and weighs 1.25kg (2.75 pounds).

Moving on to Chromebook 11 C732 offers almost identical aspects as the former Chromebook Spin 11 with minor upgrades. The Chromebook 11 C732 gets IP41-rating which provides Protection against dripping water.

It flaunts same display size and resolution as the former with 180-degrees hinge design. It is available in touch and non-touch screen variants. The device is powered by the same Intel Celeron quad-core processor N3450, or an Intel Celeron dual-core processor N3350.


The memory and storage department offers up to 8GB of RAM and 16, 32, or 64GB of onboard eMMC storage respectively.

    Chromebox CXI3



The Chromebox CXI3, on the other hand, is a tiny desktop that shares a compact design for perfect mobility and features Apollo Lake 8th generation Intel chipset. Connectivity options include 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 LE.

Ports on the device include single USB-C port, HDMI, and Ethernet ports.

Price and Availability

The Chromebook Spin 11 will be available in the US as well as in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from April with price starting $349 (Approx Rs. 22,300).

The Acer C732 Chromebook series will be available in the US starting March with a price tag starting $299.99 (Approx. Rs. 19,200) for touch variants while non-touch variants get a starting price of $279.99 ( Approx. Rs. 17,900).

The price and availability of Chromebox CXI3 remain unknown.
