Alcatel-5-1

The Chinese manufacturer TCL brings it’s qualified high-end model under its sub-brand Alcatel for the MWC 2018 which is to be held in Barcelona. For a recap, the device was already teased at CES 2018 alongside brand’s new smartphone line-up.

A couple of days back the device was already listed on Amazon France website carrying some of the tweaks and information, and now as the official launch gets closer a new promo video alongside full specifications and Europe pricing surfaces online.

Alcatel 5 gets the “borderless” design upside down, where manufacturers try to limit the width of the edges to at least three out of four sides, where the bottom shares a narrow chin compared to the top. The valid reason for the brand to adopt the design is simple as seen from the promo video it wants to focus on the dual front cameras of the device.

Price and Availability

Alcatel 5 will be offered in metallic gold and black color options, the availability is expected from February 26th (Kick off for Mobile World Congress). The device as for Europe will carry the price tag of €229.00 (Approx. $373 /Rs. 23,800).
