CES 2018 has already witnessed the launch of numerous new laptops from giant manufacturers like Acer, Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung. However, Asus joins the line-up bu introducing a new set of Windows 10 laptops named ZenBook 13 and X507.

Asus ZenBook 13
The ASUS ZenBook 13 (UX331UAL) Ultrabook features an all-metal chassis premium looking design bearing a weight of 985grams which looks quite similar to the MacBook line up.
It sports a 13.3-inch Full HD or 4K UHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and 3,840 x 2,160 pixels respectively.
The hardware of the ultrabook is powered by an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors integrated with Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB.Memory and Storage department offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD internal memory. It gets Harmon Kardon sound enhancements.
The device also shares features such as Windows Hello, Modern Standby and Microsofts own digital virtual assistant Cortana. Moreover, as claimed by the company it delivers an all-day battery life said to last for up to 15 hours.
Connectivity options include Two USB-A 3.1 ports, one USB-C 3.1 port, a full-size HDMI port, and a microSD card reader, whereas the wireless connectivity includes a 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and a fingerprint reader that provides Windows 10 Hello password-free login support.
It is offered in royal blue and slate gray colors, both with a luxurious crystal-like gloss coating. There are no official words as for the pricing or availability but we might expect it the first half of 2018.
Comparing with the ZenBook 13, the X507 is clearly aimed at mid-budget segment for budget-minded buyer.
It sports a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Despite of larger display, the laptop uses smaller bezels to minimize chassis size to 0.86 inches and weighs relatively light at 3.7 pounds.
The hardware is powered by slightly older seventh-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs integrated with Nvidia GeForce MX110 GPU. It gets memory up to 8GB of RAM and storage department offers up to 1TB SATA hard disk drive (HDD) or 256GB SATA SSD.
Connectivity options include two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, a USB-C 3.0 port, and one full-size HDMI connection. Whereas wireless options are available by 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
It is offered in brushed finish Star Gray and Icicle Gold colors. With prices remaining unknown, it will be available sometime in the first half of 2018.
