As we all are aware of Huawei is all set to announce the upcoming P20 series smartphones at an event in Paris on March 27. However, the brand recently posted a teaser image on its official Weibo page which reveals the scheduled launch event for March 20th of the Huawei Nova 3e.
Moreover, according to the reports offered by the well-known tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks, the Huawei P20 Lite will be launched as the Nova 3e in China.
The teaser image has not revealed many details about the device apart from that it will sport an edge-to-edge display and will offer an iPhone X like “Notch” design, but if the report from Evan Blass is to be considered true, it will carry the same set of specifications as the Huawei P20 Lite.
For a recap, the device bearing model number ANE-TL00 and ANE-AL00 which are now expected to be of the Huawei Nova 3e has already received certification from Chinese authority TENNA.
The device will flaunt a full metal unibody design with 19:9 aspect ratio and iPhone X like top “Notch” that houses a front shooter, an earpiece, and a sensor. The device offered in Blue, Black, Rose Gold, and Gold colors unlike its other P20 siblings it will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for the aesthetics, the device will sport a 5.84-inch full HD+ display bearing a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass on top.
Under the hood, it is expected to be an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC clocked at 2.36 GHz mated with Mali-T7830MP2 GPU. For memory and storage, it will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The inline dual camera module at the rear includes a 16MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP secondary sensor paired with Leica DUAL LENS 1:2.2/26 ASPH lens and LED flash. While for the front, it gets a 24-MP shooter for selfies and video calling.
Finally, it will be fueled by a 3000mAh battery and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box.
