Huawei’s upcoming smartphone a successor to P10 surfaced in numerous leaks and rumors suggesting that the company has trademarked the name “Huawei P20” which was later confirmed by an importer in Israel as well.
Later test pages for the same device were officially listed on the company’s website under the name Huawei P11 and Huawei P12. Then few leaks revealed that the brand has trademarked the name “Huawei P11” in the US, UK, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
However, according to the latest information available from renowned tipster Roland Quandt, it seems company has finalized to go with the P20 series as the next device will be known as Huawei P20 instead of Huawei P11.

Moreover, Roland in his tweet revealed Huawei P20’s family Codenames alongside its different variants and color options. The smartphones will be offered in in three variants:
Huawei P20 Plus and,
Huawei P20 Lite.
Talking about the Huawei P20, the device is codenamed “Emily” and it will be offered in Ceramic Black and Twilight colors. The P20 Plus gets “Charlotte” as its codename and will be available in Ceramic Black and Twilight colors whereas Huawei P20 Lite bearing codename “Anne” will get Midnight Black, Klein Blue, and Sakura Pink as color options.
As for the aesthetics, the device is expected to flaunt almost bezel-less front with taller 18:9 aspect ratio. The hardware is likely to be powered by company’s own latest Kirin 970 AI SoC integrated with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
The device is expected to run on latest EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 out of the box and might feature USB 3.1 port as well.
As for the availability, the device is likely to miss its launch at the upcoming MWC 2018 so to avoid clashing with Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Instead, the brand might announce Mediapad M5 pc-table alongside 2-in-1 notebooks.
