lenovo-moto-tabMotorola kept on denying on manufacturing a new tablet but they are back again. After nearly five years, Lenovo launched tablet named Moto Tab under the Moto brand.

Price and Availability :

The device is currently available only to US via AT&T carrier on a contract starting of $15 a month for 20 months, while without a contract the tablet gets the price tag of $200.

Key Features :

Moto Tab features a 10.1-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and pixel density of 224 PPI. The tablet is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

For the memory department, it shares 32 GB of storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

The device gets support for up to seven user profiles along with the ability to unlock individual profile with their respective fingerprint, thus allowing different individuals to use the same tablet maintaining their privacy. The device further supports kids mode, which allows kids to browse access allowed websites.

The hardware gets its juice from a 7000mAh non-removable battery, it seems massive in numbers but considering the tablet segment sounds ideal. As far as the optics are concerned, the tablet gets an 8-megapixels rare camera with autofocus and Led flashlight. While the front is loaded with 5-megapixel shooter for video calls and selfies.

In addition, Lenovo is offering optional two different packs:

  • Lenovo Home Assistant Pack which includes a premium stand with dual mics and powerful 3w speakers.
  • Lenovo Productivity Pack including a Bluetooth ThinkPad keyboard with TouchPad mouse and folio case.
