LG X4 launched

A couple of months back the South Korean mobile manufacturing company LG  announced its rugged smartphone in the ‘X series’ LG X4+. However, the brand further expands its rugged series by announcing an affordable variant of the former named LG X4 in South Korea.

Price and Availability

The affordable Lg X4 is already available in South Korea in Black and Gold color variants with the price tag of 297,000 won (Approx. $273/ Rs. 17,780).

Features and Specifications

The device flaunts a 5.3 inch HD IPS display bearing a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 425 Quad-core chipset powering the device which is further mated with 2GB RAM.

Storage department offers 16GB of onboard storage further expandable using microSD card.

As for the optics, the rear packs an 8 MP primary camera with an LED flash. While the front gets a 5 MP secondary shooter for selfies and video calling. In addition, it gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that can be used as the camera shutter button.

Moreover, users can stream free TV channels with the help of wireless HD DMB TV (Digital multimedia broadcasting) support. The smartphone also supports LG Pay, which can be used to make cardless/cashless payments using the built-in NFC chip.

It gets fueled by a 3000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with custom LG UI skin out of the box.

Finally, it measures 148.6 x 75.1 x 8.6mm and weighs 164grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port.
