HMD Global powered Nokia adds a new 4G variant to its Nokia 3310 classic smartphone lineup. For a recap, Nokia 3310 was introduced at MWC 2017 last year followed by a 3G variant in the second half of 2017.
A new 4G variant was expected with Nokia’s new smartphone lineup at MWC 2018 next month, but the brand quietly listed the device on Nokia China website revealing complete specifications and images. However, price and availability are yet to be disclosed.

Features and Specifications
Nokia 3310 4G flaunts slightly different design than its predecessors. The device brags unchanged front whereas the rear gets a refreshed look as the LED flash and the speaker gets relocated.
It sports a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and gets polarizing layer on-top that makes the sunlight reflect and provide better readability. The hardware powering the device remain unknown.
The smartphone will be offered in 256MB and 512MB onboard storage variants, further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. The camera department is managed by a 2-megapixel sensor with LED flash at the rear.
The single-SIM device runs on Alibaba’s YunOS out of the box. The hardware on the device is powered by 1,200mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to five hours of 4G calls, eight hours of 3G calls or 15 hours of calling on 2G networks.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. Media play is managed by an MP3 player and FM Radio.
It measures 117 x 52.4 x 13.35 mm and weighs 88.1 grams. The handset will be offered in Fresh blue and dark black color options. We can expect the price details and availability soon, kindly stay tuned for more updates.
