HMD Global powered Nokia officially announced Nokia 6 (2018) in India today. The smartphone flaunts metal unibody design made out of single block series 6000 aluminum and offers a faster processor, a slightly better design, and better connectivity options over its predecessor.
- The brand also launched Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco in India.

Price and Availability
The smartphone offered in Black/ Copper, White/ Iron, and Blue/ Gold color option gets the price tag of Rs. 16,999 for its 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, however, the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is expected in coming months. As for the availability, the device will go up for sales starting April 6th across the country.
Features and Specifications
As for the aesthetics, the device sports 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display bearing a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:9 and Gorilla Glass on top for protection.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC which is further mated with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM RAM. Storage department offers 32GB of onboard storage expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card.
The optics on the device is managed by a single 16-megapixel camera from ZEISS optics coupled with dual-tone LED flash, an f/2.0 aperture, and 1-micron pixels. While the front gets 8-megapixel fixed focus sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery claimed to deliver up to 16 hours and boots Android Oreo out of the box. In addition, as it is a part of Android One programme promises regular security updates and future versions of the Google’s OS for the next two years.
Finally, connectivity front is managed by 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Dimension wise it measures 148.8×75.8×8.15mm.
