Nokia 9 specifications leaked

HMD global powered Nokia announced Nokia 8 Sirocco at the MWC 2018 alongside rumored Nokia 9 was said to be in works. The device has already received numerous leaks and reports ahead of its launch and now a new specification sheet of the same pops up on the web revealing some of the core details.


According to the specification sheet images of the Nokia 9 leaked via Finnish site Suomimobiili, the device will flaunt a taller front with 18:9 aspect ratio and an 18-karat gold finish rear panel.

Expected Specifications

It is said to sport a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

Under the hood, it is expected to be Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform mated with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage department offers 256GB of onboard storage.

As the USP of the smartphone, it will come with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 41-megapixel, a 20-megapixel, and a 9.7-megapixel sensor from Carl Zeiss optics with 4x optical zoom, Xenon as well as LED flash modules.

Further, the 41-megapixel sensor is said to offer 1.4-micron pixels, OIS, a wide-angle lens, and a variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. The 20-megapixel sensor is said to be a telephoto lens OIS, 1-micron pixels, and an f/2.4 aperture, while the third 9.7-megapixel sensor is said to be a monochrome.

Talking about the front, it is said to be a 21-megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, an f/1.8 aperture also from Carl Zeiss optics.

It will be fueled by a 3900mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support which is claimed to deliver 60 percent charge in 30 minutes and boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

Dimensions wise the phone measures 150.6×75.2×7.3mm. Connectivity options will include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Finally, the specs sheet offers an in-glass fingerprint reader alongside five high-performance microphones that can record in 24-bit audio.
