A Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communication company Oppo missed out the MWC 2018 event held in Barcelona this year. However, the strategy seems to be reasonable as the brand seems to be planning the launch of its new upcoming flagship.
For a recap, the brand introduced its flagship device OPPO F5 last year in November, it has been just a couple of months and a leaked teaser of the upcoming flagship named F7 surfaces revealing some of the information.
According to the information and alleged render available so far, the device named Oppo F7 will flaunt a “Notch” design inspired by iPhone X. Furthermore the notch will house a selfie camera, an earpiece and a sensor.
The image clearly states the device will come in red color option and will feature a 3.5mm audio jack.
As for the aesthetics, it will sport a 6.2-inch FHD+ display bearing a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and screen-to-body-ratio of 89.09% giving an ultra-slim bezel look.
Moreover, the reports suggest it will come with a 25MP selfie shooter equipped with OPPO F5 like Artificial Intelligence feature for superior selfies. The front camera is also said to come with improved, real-time HDR, an enhanced beauty mode, and AR stickers. However, the rear end remains unknown.
Finally, we are little short on other core information but it is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC mated with 4/6GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
Thera are no official words on pricing or availability but considering the teaser it is likely to launch in India between 28 to 30 March. Kindly stay tuned for emerging updates.
