Chinese mobile manufacturer is all set to announce its new FullView display and selfie-focused smartphone V9 at an event to be held on March 27th. The brand has not yet officially revealed any core information about the device but thanks to numerous reports and leaks we have an idea about the Vivo V9.
Only a few days left for the official launch and a new emerging leak reveals real images alongside full specifications and a retail box.
Considering the leaked retail box, it seems like the brand is a major sponsor of the Russia 2018 FIFA Worldcup. Moreover, as known previously VIVO V9 will house an iPhone X inspired “Notch” alongside a 24MP camera which can now be confirmed from a tagline on the box “Perfect Shot, Perfect View”.
As for the price, a tweet from Indonesia suggests the device will carry a mid-budget price of around IDR 4,999,000 (Approx. US $364/Rs. 23,700).
As we move on to the core aesthetics, the device will offer a 6.0-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display bearing a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 660 processor powering the device which is further mated with 4GB RAM. Storage department will offer 64GB inbuilt storage.
The optics on the device is said to be managed by a dual rear camera setup which includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. As the USP of the device, it will come with a massive 24-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera that supports Face Unlock feature.
Finally, it is said to be fueled by a 3250mAh battery with fast charging support and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0 out of the box.
