YI technology, a leading provider of intelligent imaging technologies partnering with Google’s VR team joins CES 2018 by announcing point-and-shoot YI Horizon VR180.
The camera captures three-dimensional photos and videos in wide angle supporting ultra HD 4K resolution that can be viewed on VR headsets.
As for the aesthetics, YI Horizon camera will allow you to capture photos and videos with 5.7k resolution at 30fps. Moreover, a professional-grade 4 microphone is specially designed for outdoor noise reduction.
The device comes with one-button live streaming ability out of the box and sports a 2.2-inch retina touchscreen having a resolution of 640 x 360 pixel allowing you to control the uploading of content through the VR180 app from Google.
Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port for HD data transmission which works with YouTube and Google Photos as well.
There are no official words on the pricing of the Yi Horizon VR180 camera, for availability, it is expected starting spring 2018, however, you can enroll by heading over to company’s official website for more updates.
